Monteith’s Brewery, a West Coast icon, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospo Hero + Duty Manager to join their Front of House leadership team. Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should:
- Have experience in hospitality and customer service
- Possess strong leadership and communication skills
- Be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Be capable of managing a team of 4-10 waitstaff during shifts
- Be available to work at least one weekend day
- Be at least 20 years old (a Duty Manager Certificate is required, but training will be provided for the right candidate)
- Be a New Zealand resident or hold a valid work permit
Responsibilities
As a Hospo Hero + Duty Manager, your key duties will include:
- Leading the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Managing shifts and overseeing customer interactions
- Supporting the Hospitality Manager and working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs
- Preparing and serving coffee, cocktails, beer, wine, and food
- Acting as a tour guide for Monteith’s Brewery tours, providing guests with an engaging and informative experience
- Maintaining high service standards and ensuring a positive work environment
