Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should:

  • Have experience in hospitality and customer service
  • Possess strong leadership and communication skills
  • Be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Be capable of managing a team of 4-10 waitstaff during shifts
  • Be available to work at least one weekend day
  • Be at least 20 years old (a Duty Manager Certificate is required, but training will be provided for the right candidate)
  • Be a New Zealand resident or hold a valid work permit

Responsibilities

As a Hospo Hero + Duty Manager, your key duties will include:

  • Leading the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Managing shifts and overseeing customer interactions
  • Supporting the Hospitality Manager and working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs
  • Preparing and serving coffee, cocktails, beer, wine, and food
  • Acting as a tour guide for Monteith’s Brewery tours, providing guests with an engaging and informative experience
  • Maintaining high service standards and ensuring a positive work environment
