Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- At least 5 years of experience as a chef or cook.
- Strong knowledge of dietary requirements, including food allergies, intolerances, supplements, and texture-modified meals.
- An understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
As an Aged Care Chef/Cook, your key duties will include:
- Preparing and cooking nutritious, homestyle meals for elderly residents.
- Ensuring dietary requirements are met, including modifications for allergies, purees, and supplements.
- Maintaining strict hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with legislation.
- Collaborating with a dedicated kitchen team to provide high-quality meals.
- Preparing a variety of foods, including cakes, biscuits, bread, soups, goulash, and scones.
- Adapting recipes to meet the needs of residents while ensuring that meals remain delicious and nutritious.
