CanWest Concrete Cutting & Coring Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Leduc, AB. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction estimating, be able to analyze project requirements and provide accurate cost estimates. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency in reading blueprints, and expertise in materials, tools, and equipment estimation.

Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 annually (to be negotiated) / 90 hours bi-weekly

Job Requirements
To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma in civil engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in construction estimating.
- Language: Must be proficient in English.
- Work Environment: On-site work is required; remote work is not an option.
Key Responsibilities
As a Construction Estimator, your tasks will include:
- Preparing detailed estimates for labor and material costs.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Utilizing quantity take-off procedures to assess project needs.
- Analyzing tenders and making recommendations for contract awards.
- Estimating materials, tools, and equipment necessary for construction projects.
Other requirement:
Candidates should have experience with the following:
- Drilling Equipment: Core drills.
- Concrete Equipment: Concrete saws.
