Job Requirements

To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience
  • Must be proficient in English
  • On-site construction work with exposure to various weather conditions
  • Requires lifting, standing, walking, bending, and handling materials for extended periods
  • This position contributes to environmental sustainability by supporting Canada’s net-zero target

Key Responsibilities

As a Construction Helper, your tasks will include:

  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from job sites
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Supporting drilling and blasting operations on construction sites
  • Cleaning up chemical spills and handling other hazardous materials safely
  • Removing rubble and debris to maintain a safe and organized work environment
