Construction Foreman
Supervise work crews, ensure schedule adherence, and enforce strict safety protocols on-site. Must read blueprints fluently.
Site Supervisor
Oversee daily logistics, material delivery, and quality control. Acts as the link between project managers and labor teams.
Crane Operator
Operate mobile or tower cranes for lifting heavy materials. Valid UAE heavy equipment license required.
Welder (MIG/TIG/Arc)
Fabricate and repair metal structures. High demand in oil & gas and structural steel projects. Hazard pay often included.
Plumber
Install and maintain water and drainage systems in high-rise buildings. Familiarity with PVC and copper piping needed.
Carpenter (Shuttering)
Specialize in shuttering, formwork, or finishing carpentry. Essential for concrete pouring phases.
Dubai Work Visa & Requirements
Under UAE law, all employers must provide basic health insurance coverage for their employees. This policy covers essential services, but many workers opt for additional private coverage for dental or family benefits.
Your employer is legally required to sponsor your Residency Visa and issue a Labour Card (Work Permit). Never pay for your own visa costs; Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) regulations strictly prohibit this.
Wages are paid via the Wages Protection System (WPS) directly to bank accounts or exchange house salary cards. Use certified exchange centers for sending remittances home to ensure the best rates.
