Exciting Barista Needed at Strata Lounge, Auckland Airport

Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Proven barista experience with the ability to make and serve high-quality coffee.
• A friendly, outgoing personality and a strong work ethic.
• Superior customer service skills to ensure guests receive a memorable experience.
• Experience in a hospitality or lounge environment is preferred.
• A food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or a willingness to complete training.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• A strong commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Ability to pass a police clearance check.
• New Zealand residency or a valid NZ work visa (sponsorship is not available).

Key Responsibilities

As a Barista at Strata Lounge, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and serving top-quality coffee to guests.
• Providing friendly, welcoming, and professional customer service.
• Handling cash register operations and till transactions accurately.
• Assisting with cleaning, dishwashing, and maintaining a hygienic workspace.
• Supporting basic food preparation and presentation.
• Ensuring the lounge environment remains clean, organized, and inviting.
• Proactively responding to customer requests, feedback, and service needs.
