Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- No formal education is required.
- No prior experience is needed; training will be provided.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of fruit grading and sorting is an asset.

- Good judgment in assessing product quality.
Responsibilities
- Apply the technique of hoeing between the rows of crops.
- Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
- Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
- Grade vegetables and fruits based on size, shape, color, and volume for market pricing.
- Pack fruits and vegetables efficiently for distribution.
- Pick row and orchard crops, ensuring proper handling techniques.
- Remove suckers and water sprouts manually from fruit trees.
- Sort fruits and vegetables to ensure quality control.
- Perform weeding and maintain the cleanliness of the farm.
- Harvest crops following established procedures.
- Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce.
- Examine the product for quality and readiness for the market.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with farm visitors or buyers.
Other Responsibilities
- Assist in farm maintenance, including irrigation setup and repair.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure farm safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining farm infrastructure such as trellises and shade structures.
- Participate in sustainable farming practices to improve soil and crop health.
- Work collaboratively with the team to improve efficiency in harvesting and sorting.
