General Construction Labourer – Premier Recycling

Premier Recycling is seeking hardworking and dedicated General Construction Labourers to join our team in Timmins, ON. This is a full-time, on-site position that involves physical labor in a fast-paced construction and recycling environment. The ideal candidate should be reliable, eager to learn, and prepared to work with a team to support various construction-related tasks.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • No prior experience is necessary; on-the-job training will be provided
  • Must be proficient in English or French
  • This position requires on-site work; remote work is not available
  • Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks in a physically demanding environment
  • Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid Canadian work permit
  • Individuals without work authorization in Canada should not apply, as the employer will not consider such applications

Key Responsibilities

As a General Construction Labourer, your tasks will include:

  • Assisting skilled tradespeople with various construction-related tasks
  • Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
  • Operating hand tools and basic construction machinery as needed
  • Cleaning and preparing work areas for construction projects
  • Sorting and handling recyclable materials safely and efficiently
  • Following all workplace safety regulations and procedures
  • Supporting team members in maintaining a safe and organized work environment
  • Performing other general labor duties as assigned
