Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required
• No prior experience needed – training will be provided
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or valid work permit holders only)
• Ability to work on-site in Aldergrove, BC (remote work is not available)
• Must be comfortable with physical labor and outdoor work in various weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure healthy growth
• Hand-harvest vegetables and cut agricultural crops as needed
• Examine harvested produce for quality and market readiness
• Clean and maintain crops to meet farming standards
• Support general farm maintenance and follow workplace safety guidelines
• Operate basic farm equipment under supervision
• Load and transport harvested crops to designated areas
• Assist in pest and weed control to protect crop quality
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment
• Work efficiently within a team to meet daily and seasonal farming goals
• Report any issues with crops or equipment to supervisors promptly

Other Responsibilities

• Assist in greenhouse operations, including seeding and transplanting plants
• Monitor crop health and notify supervisors of any signs of disease or pests
• Maintain and clean farm tools, equipment, and storage areas
• Support irrigation system maintenance to ensure proper water distribution
• Help with packaging and sorting harvested crops for distribution
• Participate in seasonal farm activities, including soil preparation and fertilization
• Adhere to sustainable farming practices and conservation methods
