Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience in geotechnical drilling, slope stabilization, or related fields.
• Rope access competency (IRATA Level 1 or higher is preferred).
• Experience working on geotechnical sites and performing soil nailing and drilling operations.
• Ability to read and follow technical site instructions and drawings.
• Proficiency in using manual tools safely and efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physically fit with no fear of working at heights or in remote locations.
• Willingness to travel and work in challenging outdoor environments.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and site managers.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test.

Responsibilities

As a Geohazard Rope Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

• Performing geohazard drilling and slope stabilization using rope access techniques.
• Conducting soil nailing, mesh replacement, shotcrete works, and grout production.
• Ensuring the safety and stability of critical infrastructure in geohazard-prone areas.
• Following safety protocols and improving site safety standards.
• Assisting in geohazard assessments, monitoring, and mitigation.
• Working in remote and challenging environments, ensuring high safety standards are maintained.
