Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience in geotechnical drilling, slope stabilization, or related fields.
- Rope access competency (IRATA Level 1 or higher is preferred).
- Experience working on geotechnical sites and performing soil nailing and drilling operations.
- Ability to read and follow technical site instructions and drawings.
- Proficiency in using manual tools safely and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Physically fit with no fear of working at heights or in remote locations.
- Willingness to travel and work in challenging outdoor environments.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and site managers.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test.
Responsibilities
As a Geohazard Rope Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing geohazard drilling and slope stabilization using rope access techniques.
- Conducting soil nailing, mesh replacement, shotcrete works, and grout production.
- Ensuring the safety and stability of critical infrastructure in geohazard-prone areas.
