Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following qualifications:
- Experience in hospitality and customer service, with a strong focus on guest experience.
- High standard of personal presentation and excellent communication skills.
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage and coordinate reservation bookings using Microsoft Outlook.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work across multiple locations within Auckland CBD, covering shifts as required.
- Preferred qualifications: LCQ (License Controller Qualification) or Duty Manager experience.
- Previous experience working in a 5-star customer service environment is an advantage.
Responsibilities
As a Guest Service Ambassador, your key duties will include:
- Welcoming guests warmly by name and ensuring a memorable first impression.
- Assisting clients with directions, escorting them to meeting rooms, and offering refreshments.
- Managing reservation bookings efficiently to ensure appropriate meeting spaces.
- Handling drop-in, phone, and email inquiries with professionalism.
- Supporting food and beverage services, including catering, barista duties, sit-down dining, and event setup.
- Coordinating with the kitchen team for timely catering deliveries.
- Responding positively to client feedback and ensuring a smooth guest experience.
- Anticipating guests’ needs and providing proactive solutions.
- Maintaining a professional and immaculate appearance at all times.
- Adhering to company hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
