Job Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Kitchen Hand experience: Previous experience working in a kitchen or hospitality setting is required.
- Transport: Must have reliable transportation and a clean driver’s license.
- Experience: Any background in food preparation, kitchen work, or cleaning is advantageous.
- Vaccination: Full COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory since the job is in a healthcare environment.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
- Work Ethic: Must demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and a strong commitment to the job.
- Availability: Candidates must be able to work both weekdays and weekends.
- Work Authorization: Only applicants already based in New Zealand with valid residency or a work visa will be considered.
Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Hand, your duties will include:
- Cleaning dishes and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Assisting with food preparation as needed.
- Serving customers when required.
- Performing general kitchen and café duties.
- Ensuring all hygiene and safety standards are met in the workplace.
