Black Swan Boutique Lakeside Hotel & Restaurant, located in the picturesque Rotorua region of the Bay of Plenty, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lodge Manager to oversee the boutique property’s day-to-day operations.
This role is designed for a dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality, customer service, and operational excellence. As the Lodge Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of the property, ensuring guest satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement in service and operational efficiency.
You will work closely with Capstone Hotel Management to align the property’s operations with strategic objectives and uphold the brand’s reputation for exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities
As the Lodge Manager, your role will encompass:
- Operational Oversight: Manage all aspects of daily operations within the parameters of the management agreement, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and guest expectations.
- Cost Control and Asset Management: Proactively monitor and control costs, protect hotel assets, and implement measures to enhance profitability.
- Guest Relations: Ensure that all guest issues, queries, and complaints are addressed promptly and effectively, maintaining a consistently high standard of service.
- Staff Management: Oversee human resources functions, including recruiting, inducting, training, and performance reviews. Foster a supportive work environment to promote staff retention and high morale.
- Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with staff and corporate management, ensuring that all hotel operations are in sync with broader business objectives.
