Job Requirements

To qualify for this job, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: No prior experience required; training will be provided
• Language: English proficiency required
• License: Must possess a valid Class 1 or A driver’s license
• Workplace: On-site only (remote work is not available)
• Work Conditions: Physically demanding work, long hours, and overtime required

Responsibilities

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Driving long distances as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Loading and unloading cargo
• Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safety
• Conducting pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• Addressing customer concerns or complaints
• Keeping accurate records such as driver logbooks, trip reports, accident reports, and maintenance reports
• Using GPS and other navigation equipment
