Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- No prior experience necessary; training will be provided
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to handle loads up to 30 lbs
- Strong work ethic and reliability
Responsibilities
- Harvest fresh produce and separate marketable and non-marketable items
- Pack, sort, and prepare fruits and vegetables for sale
- Clean and maintain greenhouse and work areas
- Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and produce
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
- Assist in setting up and maintaining market stalls
- Support farm maintenance tasks such as irrigation and weeding
- Participate in seasonal planting and crop rotation efforts
- Assist in farm sustainability initiatives to minimize waste
- Communicate with supervisors regarding crop quality and production updates
- Help with customer service and engagement during market hours
Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities
- Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
- Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods
- Handling heavy loads up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- Working outdoors in varied weather conditions (hot, dusty, rainy, etc.)
