BT Mining, operated under Bathurst Resources, is New Zealand’s largest specialist coal producer, supplying over 2.2 million tonnes of coal annually. About 80% of this production is used for steel manufacturing both locally and internationally. The company’s high-quality thermal-grade coal also fuels several key industries in New Zealand’s food and dairy sector.
