Kisa, a Turkish/Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant located on Cuba Street in Wellington, New Zealand, is seeking a Senior Chef de Partie (CDP) to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position with a guaranteed minimum of 35 hours per week.

Salary: $28.50 – $31.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in a professional kitchen
Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cold section/larder, and grilling
Ability to order stock, conduct stocktaking, and manage food and labor costs
Good knowledge of dietary requirements and the ability to accommodate various preferences
Commitment to high hygiene and cleanliness standards in compliance with food safety regulations
Ability to mentor and train junior team members, working closely with HR and the Head Chef to assess skill levels
Willingness to follow instructions and work towards a common goal
Flexible availability across a seven-day roster, which includes dinner shifts on Mondays and Tuesdays, and both lunch and dinner shifts from Wednesday to Sunday
No prior experience in Middle Eastern cuisine is required, making it a great opportunity for chefs who want to learn new culinary styles
