Job Requirements

• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
• Strong enthusiasm and excellent interpersonal skills
• Initiative and self-motivation to work independently or as part of a team
• Practical mindset with a high degree of loyalty and integrity
• Ability to maintain a high level of personal grooming and hygiene
• Previous industry experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training is provided

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily de-hire checks on machinery returning from hire to ensure safety and functionality
• Perform cleaning and minor maintenance tasks on machines to maintain operational standards
• Assist with loading and unloading machinery and support customers within the hire yard
• Maintain the yard and surrounding areas to ensure a tidy and safe environment
• Deliver machines to site locations via trailer as required
• Carry out electrical testing on site (training provided)
• Perform other duties as requested to support team operations

Other Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to promote a positive service experience.
• Report any machinery defects or maintenance issues promptly to supervisors
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols and company policies while on site and in the yard
• Assist in organizing yard inventory and equipment as needed
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the yard operations
